Structural Engineer

This is an opportunity to join a multidisciplinary architecture and engineering practice where structural engineers work closely with architects and other design professionals throughout the project lifecycle.
The portfolio covers a mix of commercial and residential buildings, giving you exposure to different structural systems rather than being tied to one project type. You'll have the support of an experienced team while being trusted with increasing project ownership as you develop.
What you'll be doing:
Perform structural analysis and design for commercial and residential building projects
Design foundations, framing and lateral structural systems
Work across wood framing, wood trusses, steel and other structural systems
Prepare calculations, technical reports and construction documentation
Review structural drawings and maintain technical quality across projects
Coordinate directly with architects, engineers and contractors
Help resolve design and technical challenges from initial design through construction
What we're looking for:
Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering or a related discipline
3+ years of relevant structural engineering experience preferred
Experience designing commercial and/or residential buildings
Strong understanding of foundation, framing and lateral system design
Experience with wood, steel and other common building structural systems
EIT or PE preferred
Strong technical, communication and problem-solving skills
